Where to have lunch?

Near to the conference venue there are several places where to have lunch. Most of them have also daily offers for the lunch time, wich is much cheaper than ordering from the menu.

Travelling to Tartu

Tartu is easy to reach by bus.
The bus station is located in the city centre just next to the hotels and shopping centres. International lines from Riga and St. Petersburg are operated by Ecolines and Lux Express. Tartu also has a very good bus connection with the capital city Tallinn with more than 30 departures daily.

Tartu is reachable from Tallinn and Valga also by train, train service is organized by Elron. Train station itself is located 1.6 km away from the centre, but there is a regular bus (no. 20) to the centre, which operates about every 20 minutes. A regular ticket for one trip can be bought from the bus driver 1.50 EUR.

There is a regular airline connecting Tartu airport with Helsinki, but in order to reach the city you have to pre-order the Airport Shuttle service.
